5 Must Haves This Season

Depending on where you live, outside is slowly but surely reopening. We've spent weeks preparing for the moment to get fully dressed and enjoy the nice weather. While we'll still be practicing some form of social distancing (hopefully) you can still look great doing it. I have put together a list of 5 items I think are essential for you to have this season. Check them out and let me know your thoughts

 Platform Sneaker

The shoe you never knew you needed. Platform Sneakers have become a classic staple in my closet for the last couple of years. No matter how simple the look is, a platform sneaker gives it an upgrade. By now, most of the well known brands have at least one version of these babies; from  Gucci and  Alexander McQueen to Steve Madden and Nike. I've invested in a few pairs and just recently bought another, I think I'm pretty obsessed.

Baby Doll Dress

When ever you want to just feel super pretty and girly, opt for a baby doll dress. These have always been my go to because I love how they highlight my long legs, but they've made a mainstream comeback this season. With so much versatility, it's no place you cant wear these dresses. From sandals during the day to heels for datenight and even sneakers to add a bit of edgy (my fav) you can do no wrong.

Bermuda Shorts

Now I mentioned these in my last blog 5 Denim Styles You Need This Summer but I will say it again. Get you a pair. I have never been a huge fan of short shorts but I still wanted to have that shorts feel during the summer. Bermuda shorts come in all sorts of textures and styles and virtually compliments all body types. I've stumbled across them in leather, linen, distressed boyfriend denim and even the tapered pant style.

Chunky Dad Sandals

I remember 4-5 years ago I bought a powder blue pair of dad sandals from @lordandtaylor and they are still my most shoe for summer. The chunky style is in and I don’t foresee them leaving the scene anytime soon. They provide the perfect amount of edgy and fashion forward without compromising sophistication. I usually love to pair them with a smock dress or baby doll dress to create the chic street style vibe.

White Shirt

If I could wear anything for the rest of time it would definitely be a white blouse, hands down. Putting on a crisp white shirt make you feel so boss and classic. Paired with anything from denim to pleated skirts or biker shorts, they are just so good for everything. This season the muscle tee has made a comeback and are adding the perfect twist on effortless but cool look.
